Jay Lewis brings more than 25 years of leadership experience to the role of Chief Executive Officer with Big Data Management Services. His broad array of experience includes serving as the former President and co-CEO of a large publicly traded retail energy company with over $4 billion in annual revenue, working for Fortune 10 companies and growing startup organizations. Additionally, his service on public, nonprofit and private boards has provided him with an in-depth understanding of strategic planning and execution, sound corporate governance practices, and strong capital allocation discipline.

Jay holds an MBA from New York University’s Stern School of Business, where was also a Consortium for Graduate Studies in Management Fellow. Prior to this, he earned a Master of Engineering and Bachelor of  engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology in New Jersey.

He is also a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and is a NACD Governance Fellow. He currently sits on the boards of Chinquapin Preparatory School and Girl Scouts of San Jacinto Council and has served as a panelist for the Energy Thought Leadership Summit in 2018, the Congressional Black Caucus: Energy Summit in Washington, D.C. in 2017 and the National Association of Regulatory Utility Commissioners (NARUC) Conference, in 2016.

Cade Burks founded Big Data Management Services in October 2012, drawing on an extensive career in the retail energy sector. Today, as the Chief Digital Officer and Chairman, he managed activities and new service development around smart meter data, electronic transactions and big data service for retail energy providers.

Cade specializes in driving efficiencies in the energy industry and within his clients’ organizations, developing and implementing standards and business models that are underpinned by robust technical solutions.

He serves as the Vice-Chairman of the Board of the North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB), a nonprofit standards development organization designed to work with industry, creating wholesale and retail electric and natural gas business practices to accommodate a seamless marketplace for customers, consumers, the business community and regulating entities. Cade was Chairman of NAESB from 2015 through 2017 and currently chairs the Critical Infrastructure Committee addressing cyber security issues within the industry. He also chairs the Retail Markets Quadrant, which supports retail electric and gas market transactions, Green Button and OpenFMB standards.

As the Chief Business Officer, J. Forbes Anderson is responsible for Big Data Management Services’ financial and legal oversight as well as strategic business development and marketing.

Forbes’ diverse experience, spanning four decades, includes various executive leadership and board positions with high-growth companies. Throughout his career, he has managed multiple functional areas across a broad range of industries.

In addition to his business activities, he’s active in several community-focused activities including Buckner International, a faith-based organization focused on at-risk families and vulnerable children. He has also participated in numerous mission trips to Guatemala, Ethiopia and Kenya.

Deanna Young, CPA, brings an extensive background in the financial industry to the role of Chief Commercial Officer with Big Data Management Services. She has held leadership roles in several financial institutions, including AXIA Resources, Opportune, The Tinsley Group and her own advisory services business e3 Dynamics.

Deanna holds a BBA in Accounting from Stephen F. Austin State University and an MBA from Rice University, where she served on the 2013 EMBA Advisory Board and Curriculum Committee. She has also served on the board of directors for the Women’s Energy Network Houston and currently serves on the Executive Committee of Junior Achievement of Southeast Texas.

As the Chief Customer Officer, Jennifer Teel helps our clients develop and implement strategic EDI and data services. She has over 15 years of IT and business experience at ista North America, EC Power and Southern Company Services. Since 1999, Jennifer has specialized in deregulated energy markets, successfully implementing solutions in over 100 deregulated electric and gas retail markets.

Jennifer holds an MBA and BBA with a specialization in Management Science and Information Technology from the University of Georgia.
